California artist David Lindsay has been a professional glass blower since 1976. Born and raised in Vallejo, he began his career right after high school as an apprentice at a local art glass studio. Quickly becoming proficient in all aspects of glass production, he became a partner in 1982 and remained with that studio, continuing to refine his skills and techniques, until 1997.
In 1998 he founded Lindsay Art Glass to further his own vision and artistic talents. David’s unique designs explore abstract styles as well as organic motifs in richly colored glass. Employing the technique of compound layering, he often incorporates gold and/or silver into his multi-faceted creations.
