South African Safari Gold hand-painted dripless candles

These brightly colored candles are poured, painted, and packaged by hand using traditional methods. No patterns or stencils are used to create the designs, so each candle is a unique work of art. Non-toxic pigments, high-quality paraffin wax, and cotton wicks result in a long burn time. As the candles are burned the flame glows from within and shows off the artistry of the design and colors, which are influenced by the warmth and richness of the African landscape. Since each piece is created by hand, the candle you receive may appear different from the photos but will be consistent with the theme and colors of the design you select.

All candles are handcrafted in South Africa by a small family business that trains people in their community to create these beautiful products. The work provides sustainable employment for the artisans and the company is a proud member of the WFTO.
