A lifelong passion for fine woodworking.

John Harden has been a woodworker since his childhood days growing up in the Pacific Northwest. His earliest memory of woodworking was as a small child fabricating crude boats to play with in the puddles and ditches of his neighborhood.

John refined his basic skills in an excellent high school vocational program and then began a career in residential construction that lasted nearly 20 years, building often intricate custom wood elements for homeowners and builders, and all the while continuing to practice fine woodworking as a hobby.

In 2015 an accident with a table saw gave him the motivation to reconsider his direction and an opportunity to upgrade his equipment, and he has been working ever since to produce elegant and precisely engineered one-of-a-kind handcrafted bowls and home accessories.
