Mark Rosenbaum is the creative force and owner of Rosetree Blown Glass Studio and Gallery in New Orleans. His forty-year artistic career has been defined by carving out his own path: he was the first recipient of an MFA in glassblowing from Tulane University, and he established the first privately owned glassblowing studio in Louisiana with a grant from the Louisiana Division of the Arts. Rosetree Studio is now one of the largest fine art glass studios in the American South.
Mark's diverse background in glassblowing, glass casting, ceramics, and jewelry has resulted in an exciting and unusual approach to this ancient art form. His distinctive blending of classical shapes, contemporary colors, and complex internal designs produces striking pieces that are greatly admired by collectors of fine art glass.
